[Home][Why Inspect]

Buyers - Inspect to avoid expensive surprises later

Sellers - Inspect & correct for a faster and smoother sale

Could this happen to you?

It can and it has happened to others who thought they knew what they were buying.

Of course, you wouldn't buy a home if you saw major problems. Most people don't even try to sell a home with obvious structural flaws.  But people do sell homes with problems that are not easily noticed.  Sellers are frequently unaware of dangers and defects, but buyers must know about them before they buy.

Home Inspectors who are not Florida Registered Professional Engineers may also be unaware of hidden, structural defects, so beware if your inspector is not a Florida Registered Professional Engineer. It is to your advantage to select  LAB PRO inspections because all of our inspectors are Florida Registered Professional Structural Engineers.

Don't be told that a small problem will cost a small amount to correct. Many small problems can add up to a large repair bill.

Fortunately, sinking homes are uncommon, however there are many other types of problems that are common.  Unsafe electrical conditions, mold, heating system dangers, water or pest entry can all be difficult to detect.  Perhaps you will find some of these items, but if you are not a professional home inspector who has inspected thousands of homes, you may not know where to even look.  Only you can decide what level of risk you can afford to take.

Finding them is the job of your home inspector.  This is why you need a fully independent home inspector who has a single interest - your protection.  View the section of this website that answers the question "Why LAB PRO".
